Are you ready for what comes next?

Be honest. How do you measure up?
God’s standard is perfect.
In sport, you can miss a target and play on. The Bible says that sin is missing the mark of God’s perfect standard.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
Romans 3:23
If we’ve done any of these things, we’ve sinned. God is holy and just, and His Law shows us that we are guilty.
Every match eventually ends.
And so does every life.
One day, your final siren will sound.
What will be the result?
"It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment."
Hebrews 9:27
If God judged you according to His Law, would you be innocent or guilty?
Being sincere won’t erase our record.
And good deeds cannot undo our sin.
We need someone to pay the penalty for us.
But God, in His love, sent His Son Jesus Christ to save us.
Jesus lived the perfect life we haven’t lived.
He never sinned, and yet He willingly died on the cross, taking the punishment guilty sinners deserve.
Then three days later, He rose from the dead.
Our debt can be satisfied because Jesus paid it in full.
Turn from your sin and turn to God.
Put your trust in Jesus Christ and what He has done for you, not in your own goodness.
Receive new life and live for Him.
"Repent, and believe the gospel."
Mark 1:15
Salvation is not something you can earn. It is a gift received through faith in Jesus Christ.
Goals win games.
But there is a far greater goal for your life.
To know God
"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."
John 17:3
The ultimate goal shouldn’t be to become religious, but to know God, be forgiven by Him, and receive eternal life through Jesus Christ.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
John 3:16
